Returning to work meant leaving my flipflops, jeans and t-shirts home and learning how to look like a professional. When I was young, my mom was a hairdresser and make-up artist in a couple of notable department stores. She worked for recognizable name-brand companies and I grew up using high-quality skincare and cosmetics. When I was a young mother, she left that industry and I could not afford to purchase the products on one income. I began inexpensive and then natural skincare, a series of different cosmetic brands, and an exploration of nutrition and supplements. Since returning to work, I've also added clothing to that list. I find Seint cosmetics to have high pigmentation and high quality for reasonable prices. My skin also loves it. Seint claims that your skin will be better once using their products and I would have to agree. My skin will react negatively to certain cosmetic products. This is admittedly the least affordable recommendation on my list, but my skin does amazing on these products. I truly can't say enough about the line. If you're not ready for the R&F pricepoint, I used BareMinerals before R&F and was happy with their products. If you can afford it, however, I highly recommend this line! This might be the most fun item in my Toolbox. When I returned to work, I needed a work wardrobe, but don't enjoy the process of shopping... which usually means I end up buying items that I don't love and don't end up wearing. I rewarded myself with a Rent the Runway subscription one month and have kept it ever since. This allows me to wear clothing I wouldn't spend money on otherwise and purchase items I end up loving.
